After Oliver's previous success with Albion Waves, we were asked to assist with his next iteration of the artwork, a playable orchestra of cat shaped vessels.

Inspired by a macarbe (and hopefully never realised) cat based piano invented in 1650, which used shreiking cats to produce sound, we worked with Oliver to again apply the same concepts from Albion Waves to a monolithic system, controlled with a custom built synthesizer with motorised faders to visually explain the concept to the audience.

The piece was shown at Almine Rech, Tribeca, New York, where Oliver performed live with the piece, along with inviting members of the public to also play the piece.
